چکیده

This paper presents an OSGi based service infrastructure for delivering, managing and developing context aware services in connected homes. An OSGicompliant residential gateway (RG) is deployed in connected homes to bridge the Internet and the home networks and devices. A device access system architecture has been embedded in RG and devices to facilitate device discovery, capability sharing and interoperability. Context information has been acquired, delivered, processed and derived using a novel context aware service architecture on top of the OSGi framework. A prototype has been implemented to verify the feasibility of the new service infrastructure.
